Chicken Shit... LOL
I have been terrified of clowns for as long as I can remember. It started off with "It", the original from the 80's. BUT, what I think threw me over the edge was "Killer Klowns from Outer Space." Can't forget John Wayne Gacy... The 80's were an interesting time in scary movies and real life scary people. There is something about them that just makes my Fight or Flight confused. As an adult, 30 years later.... I am still scared of these movies.
Making the fear work
I figured a way I can get over this fear of Clowns is to make it work for me. Plan a shoot, make it fun, and not super scary, and always add a touch of sexy. Heather did such an amazing job with her make up and modeling. She had just enough creepy and sass to keep me from running further into the woods. I gave my fear a job, and put it to work and created some amazing artwork.
How it turned out
Ummmmm, I am still scared of clowns, but this made it fun. I am working on checking things off my dream list, and that includes photographing my fears. The hardest one is going to be spiders. I have taken photos of hem from a distance before, but I want to photograph them up close and on the model.
